Engagement Manager is responsible for managing a client account and provide leadership to the project team. At the client account level they are responsible for building relationship and managing the financials. At the project level they ensure scope is defined, create and manage the project plans, and provide direction to all members of the team. The Engagement Manager is ultimately responsible for planning and coordinating activities of projects to ensure that the project goals are accomplished and client needs are met.
Responsibilities
Develop proposals and statements of work and project work plans.
Manage day to day project issues and build client relationship.
Identify potential risks areas and provide effective solutions or workarounds to the problem at hand.
Determine critical paths and issues impeding the progress of the project; works with the client and team to resolve these issues.
Facilitate regular project team meetings; develop and manage procedures for handling scope change.
Perform supervisory tasks during the project, including performance evaluation and training support for team members.
Motivate and provide leadership to the team.
Qualifications
Deep experience (10+ years) in the delivery of custom web based solutions having extensive experience in business analysis and technology.
Past experience as project manager in a consulting firm is a solid plus
Leadership skills including several years of project management, team building, business development & client and sales presentation Experience and knowledge of new web technologies
Knowledge of at least one business vertical like Financial Services, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical, and Media and Entertainment is a plus
